Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases
Self-emptying bases make the robot vacuum worth the cost, particularly for those with large homes. This means you don't need to empty the bin more than once per run. It keeps your floors cleaner and it will run more often.
Its Lidar navigation does an excellent job of mapping and you can make use of the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. It didn't avoid objects like furniture legs or shoes, as well as the Q Revo and J7.

1. iRobot Combo J7+
The Combo J7+ is iRobot's first robot mop and vacuum. It takes the excellent iRobot J7 robotic vacuum, and adds a small reservoir of water, a robotic arm that raises and lowers mopping pads, as well as some new sensors. The result is a highly powerful two-in-one cleaner that we've found to be superior to non-mopping robot vacuums.
The Combo j7+ doesn't have the smart mopping features found in our top pick, but it still does an excellent job of cleaning. It has a powerful brush roll that can be used on both hard floors and carpeted rooms. It can fit between furniture and rugs without difficulty even on steep staircases. And it has a strong suction that we were very impressed with, though it's not as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.
The Combo j7+ is distinguished from other robot vacuums because of mopping that makes use of the rotating brush to scrub the floors. iRobot calls it SmartScrub and it works by moving back and forth, mimicking the way you scrub a floor with a mop. It can be turned on by room in the iRobot app.
Like other iRobot robots, the J7 Plus is very easy to setup and use. It's also easy to maintain. The dust bin as well as the water tank can be taken out to clean it easily. The iRobot App lets you watch videos that show how to maintain the different components of the machine. For instance replacing the mopping pad, or filtering the water tank.
The only real downside is that you are able to mop using the iRobot Combo if your mopping pad is attached and if its 210ml tank is filled. It will only vacuum when one of these are not present. You can easily keep an eye on the tank's water level using the iRobot app, and when it's low you'll get an email to refill it.
2. Roborock Q Revo
The Q Revo is an affordable robot that does a fantastic job vacuuming and mopping. Its mopping performance is impressive, especially considering the cost. It is able to mop well on hard floors and carpets and picks up fine to large debris (think hair tangles, Kitty litter, cereals of all sizes). It also excels at cleaning up dried spills, messes and stains. It is also ideal to clean stairs and other areas that are easy to become stuck.
The mopping system utilizes a rotating pad to scrub your floors using water, which lifts dirt and grime on stubbed-on spots. The pad is also dried thoroughly by 45 minutes of warm air after each cleaning to prevent unpleasant odors and mold. You can easily control the robot with the Roborock app or use your voice to get your mopping started or change settings and more.
Its vacuuming performance is top-notch and the suction is also top-quality. It comes with an impressive vacuum and a high-efficiency filter which is able to capture all types of debris, from small to large. The only drawback is that it doesn't perform as well against pet hair on carpet. Ten percent of pet hair was still on the test surface after two vacuuming cycles at max power, but this isn't uncommon in the world of vacuuming.
The Q Revo has plenty of things to offer including its superior mopping and cleaning capabilities to its excellent navigation and obstacle avoidance. It's not as good as the more expensive robotic vacuum cleaner and mop however, it's an excellent option for anyone with a limited budget. It also charges up to 30% quicker than previous versions and is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This adds a lot of convenience at a low price. 3. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum mop robot that performs well and has great features at a very reasonable price. Setup is a breeze and takes just five minutes. After you have removed the protective plastic and manufacturing tape, you can scan the QR code on the app to begin. The app is easy to use and guides you through each step. Once it is set up, you are able to start mapping and cleaning.
The app lets you create maps and customise the layout of your home. The app also lets you divide rooms into smaller sections to better target your needs. You can create an outline of the kitchen, and another one for the living room. The robot will then vacuum the floors at different times in each room.
The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots that I've tried. It is an industrial look. Its base station is more modular than other models and features a dirty water tank and auto-empty feature on one side, and the vacuum on the other. The reusable mop pads are also distinct. They are inserted into the top of the robot and are connected to a handle in the front, making it simple to remove and refill.
The vacuum is as good as any robot I've examined, and it comes with two side brushes instead of the single brush on most models. This expands the coverage of the vacuum, making it less likely to drop debris from furniture and walls. However, it does have some issues with the detection of objects and a tendency to run at full speed through objects, like the tassel rug in my office.
4. iRobot Braava Jet m6
The iRobot Braava Jet m6 is an efficient robot mop that does its job well and keeps your hard floors looking beautiful on a regular basis. It's not able to vacuum like other hybrids, and it is unable to transfer from hard floors to rugs or carpets. But, with its long battery life and intelligent mopping features, this machine is an excellent choice for small and mid-sized homes.
It can be used in dry sweeping mode, which can clean up to 1,000 square. feet. on a single battery charge. It can also draw your floor plan using the iRobot App and clean your rooms in a series with compatible Roomba Vacuums.
In wet mopping, the m6 uses precision sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It's fascinating to observe and it was able to take on even the toughest dried-in juice and coffee stains on my floors. It can be set to use less or more water than the maximum amount specified in the app.
you can try these out is one of the best available and makes syncing to your home's wi-fi network simple. It comes with user-friendly features like scheduling, room partitioning and creating zones that don't allow you a precise control over your machine. It also shows how much power remains in the battery so you know how long before it has to be docked or recharged. The m6 can be purchased at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK or at the iRobot Store in the US for just $399 and on Amazon (where the m6 is currently on sale). It comes in white and graphite.
5. Shark RV2610WA
The price of vacuum and mop robotic cleaners is an problem. They are easy to use, but expensive. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 Robot Vacuum and Mop with XL HEPA Self-Empty Base which we reviewed here is priced at $699 / PS559 / about $1054. If you don't want the charging base, it'll cost $549 /PS395 / approximately AU$675.
Shark RV2610WA can be a great option for those looking for a machine that is flexible and able to do both vacuuming as well mopping. It utilizes sonic mopping technology to scrub floors 100 times per minute, and it's also capable of deep cleaning stubborn stains with the stain-lifting option that comes with it. The app lets you program the machine to clean at a particular time and date. It also has an intelligent feature that allows you to control your robot when you're away.
The Shark vacuum cleaner is good at vacuuming and can remove the majority of debris. However, it is not as effective on carpets. It's easy to catch pet hair in the brushroll, and the dirt compartment can become full fairly quickly. It has a few parts that require regular maintenance and replacement. This can lead to ongoing costs.
There are better options available on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus, for example, offers much better performance on both carpets with a high pile as well as bare floors. It's more durable and has a bigger dust bin and is able to maneuver around obstacles like electrical cords more easily. The iRobot is more expensive, but it's well worth the extra expense if require a multi-purpose cleaner that does both tasks with ease.
